Bachelor in Computer Application Course Syllabus

The Bachelor of Computer Application is a three-year undergraduate degree course approved by the AICTE & UGC. The course is related to information technology and computer applications. The Bachelor in Computer Application course includes syllabus such as core programming languages Java and C++, data structure, networking, and others. BCA course provides a lot of opportunities to the students who are interested in the computer field and want to work in the IT sector as a programmer or software developer.

  • Computer Fundamentals:- A computer is an electronic machine that accepts data, stores, and processes data into information. The computer is able to work because there are instructions in its memory directing it.
  • C-Programming:- The C programming language is a computer programming language that was developed to do system programming for the operating system UNIX and is an imperative programming language.
  • System Analysis & Design:- Systems Analysis and Design (SAD) is a wide term for describing methodologies for developing high-quality Information System which combines Information Technology, People and Data to support business requirement.
  • In-depth Working of Computer Subsystem:- Subsystem in a computer is the collection of devices. This subsystem allows a computer to communicate with the outside world and to store programs and data even when the power is off. Input/output devices can be divided into two broad categories, ie, non-storage and storage devices.
  • Organizational Behavior:- Organizational behavior is the study of how people behave within groups. Early studies determined the importance of group dynamics in business productivity. The study of organizational behavior is a foundation of corporate human resources.
  • Visual Basic:- Visual Basic for Applications is a computer programming language developed and owned by Microsoft. With VBA, one can create macros to automate repetitive word- and data-processing functions, and generate custom forms, graphs, and reports. VBA functions within MS Office applications.
  • Computer Laboratory & Practical work:- A computer lab is a space that provides computer services to a defined community. Computer labs are typically provided by libraries to the public, by academic institutions to students who attend the institution, or by other institutions to the public or to people affiliated with that institution.
