  • Close reading abilities:- Close reading is a skill that requires students to determine the purpose and information features and language the author uses so that they can think and systematically think about the details in the text and why they are used.
  • Long-form essay writing:- Long-form writing is more elaborate and complex. Novels and memoirs are ideal examples of long writing. The form has traditionally long narratives with elaborate backstories and a multitude of characters. These tasks are generally longer than 50,000 words.
