To be eligible for B Tech IT, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Minimum Marks: A minimum of 45% aggregate marks in PCM is required (40% for reserved category students).
Diploma Holders: Candidates who have completed a diploma in engineering can apply for lateral entry into the second year of the B Tech IT program.
Entrance Exams: Some institutions, including those under AIE CET, require candidates to appear for an entrance exam. A good score in this exam can help secure admission and scholarships.
