Breaking News in Aviation: Air India Strengthens Regional Ties with Delhi-Dhaka Route Launch

In a significant step towards enhancing regional connectivity and fostering stronger bilateral ties, Air India, India’s national carrier, has announced the much-anticipated launch of its new Delhi-Dhaka route.

Starting mid-September, Air India will operate four weekly nonstop flights between the capitals of India and Bangladesh. This expansion is aimed at meeting the growing demand for international travel between the two neighboring countries while offering enhanced connectivity options for travelers.

The new route is expected to benefit passengers traveling from Dhaka, providing seamless connections via Delhi to Air India's extensive global network, including destinations in North America, the United Kingdom, and Australia.

Air India will join existing carriers, including IndiGo, Vistara, and Biman Bangladesh Airlines, as the fourth scheduled airline to operate this popular route. The route already boasts significant connectivity, with Dhaka linked to several Indian cities. Air India also serves the Dhaka-Kolkata sector, further reinforcing its commitment to strengthening ties between the two nations.

With this launch, Air India not only expands its footprint but also underscores its dedication to supporting regional partnerships and facilitating smoother travel experiences for passengers.
