Electrical Engineering Eligibility Criteria

The candidates, who are interested in pursuing the course of Electrical Engineering must make sure that they are eligible enough. The course of Electrical Engineering is approved by the AICTE & UGC, Government of India. • The candidates must have qualified their 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or equivalent AICTE approved 3 years Engineering Diploma in any stream.
• The applicants must have secured a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or equivalent AICTE approved 3 years Engineering Diploma in any stream.
• The age of the candidates must be between 16 to 28 years at the time of admission.
• The candidate must have good calculative, mathematical and observational skills.
• Students can qualify for the AIE CET exam for admission to Puran Murti College of Engineering.

The eligibility for Electrical Engineering must be fulfilled before going through the admission process. This course is related to electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism. The trained electrical engineers design electric circuits and tools. They work on large power plants as well in small hardware companies which include designing, manufacturing, and operating power plants, industrial machinery, electrical motors, computer chips, and ignition systems for automobiles, aircraft, space crafts and all types of engines.
