ITI Fitter is a 2-year certification course. There are a total of 4 semesters and it is approved by the NCVT (National Council Vocational Training). In this course, the candidates will get specific information about the fittings like Pipe fittings, Machine fitting, and structure fittings.

One who puts together or installs Machinery, plants, machines, and other mechanical products are called a fitter. If the candidate has also seen a plant being built or a machine installed, then he/ she must have seen how a fitter works to connect each part with perfection.
It is a job oriented course. After pursuing the course, the candidates can work in several work profiles as a Fitter-Welder, Machine Operator, Pipe Fitter, Mechanical Fitter, Lathe Machine Fitter, Technician, etc. So, the ITI Fitter certificate holder can work under Indian Railways, SAIL, GAIL, Electricity Department, NTPC, etc.
Apart from this, the ITI fitter can work in both Government and private sectors. Not only can one start a business in this field, but he/ she will be able to pursue a higher education Bachelor's Degree or any other higher qualification in India or abroad.
