- The candidate must have qualified his/ her BE/ B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Bachelor of Planning or any other equivalent degree from any recognized university.
- The applicants must have secured a minimum of 55% in their Bachelor’s degree examination.
- Candidates must be medically fit.

M.Tech in Civil Engineering Admission Eligibility

- Math skills:- Mathematical ability is a human construct, which may be defined cognitively or pragmatically, depending on the purpose of definitions. From this perspective, it can be defined as the ability to perform mathematical tasks and to effectively solve given mathematical problems.
- Tests of Building Materials:- Building Materials Testing primarily involves testing structural materials used to build new projects from the ground up, materials and components used to construct new additions or new components being added to an existing facility.
- Investigation Of soil:- The soil investigation report is an important legal document that is used as the basis for design of foundations or earth structures as well as their construction. The report also forms the basis for investigating any potential instability or failure of the structure during its life.
- Uses of Surveying Instruments:- Surveying instruments calculate the angles and the distances between points. The data points collected from the surveyor tools are used to calculate the location of any point. Theodolites & transit levels can be used to measure angles while chains & tape measures can be used to calculate distances.
- Standard Codes Used In Construction:- Civil engineers engaged in construction activities of large projects usually have to refer to a good number of IS codes as such projects entail use a variety of construction materials in many varieties of structures such as buildings, roads, steel structures.
- Bar Bending Schedule:- Bar Bending Schedule, commonly referred to as “BBS” is a comprehensive list that describes the location, mark, type, size, length and number, and bending details of each bar or fabric in a Reinforcement Drawing of a Structure.
- Drawing and Design:- Design drawings are used to develop and communicate ideas about a developing design: In the early stages they might simply demonstrate to the client the ability of a particular design team to undertake the design.
- Estimation and Bills:- The bill of quantities, determines the quantities of the various work sections involved in a project; the cost estimate, is the economic value of such quantities and the estimated total cost of works.
